LANZHOU UNIVERSITY MARCH INTAKE Chinese Language Program

Founded in 1909, Lanzhou University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It offers a variety of academic programs, including undergraduate programs, master's graduate programs, PhD graduate programs, and a post-doctorate working station for exceptional students.

Currently, Lanzhou University is offering a scholarship specifically for a 6-month Chinese language program for the March intake. This scholarship aims to help students learn the techniques of comprehensive management with due tolerance and open-mindedness, enhancing their global perspective to better serve the community and the nation. The program is designed to educate students on identifying and correcting interference, fostering the innate potential of living systems.

I. Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

1. be a citizen of a country other than the PRC with a valid passport and in good health both mentally and physically ( An applicant who was originally a Chinese citizen but have acquired a foreign nationality should meet the conditions set by the Document No.83 (2009) issued by Ministry of Education of the PRC);

2. be an academically excellent holder of high school diploma or its equivalent and at the age between 17 and 35 (An applicant under the age of 18 should provide guardianship certificate);

3. have no violation of the laws and regulations of the PRC and the rules of LZJTU.

II. Application Documents

1. The passport information page within the validity period.

2. The visa page and records of entering and leaving China, if any.

3. Diploma and certificate of highest education (notarized photocopy);

4. Academic transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;

5. Certificate of language proficiency：a valid HSK certificate or others (if any);

6. a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (please refer to Appendix 1). The original document, printed by Chinese quarantine authorities, shall be filled in in English. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months.

7. Certified documents of social activities if any.

8. A valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security (such as the police station), usually issued within six months prior to the submission date of the application.

9. An applicant under the age of 18 shall submit the legal documents of his/her legal guardian(s) in China.

III. Admission and Enrollment

1. Check your Email or login on your LZJTU online application account to track your application status. Make sure your email address is correct and check your email occasionally, you will receive some important information.
